Take a coach (no. 400) from the Gare Routiere (bus station) in Nice to this amazing art gallery in the hills above the coast. After visiting the Fondation Maeght, wander through the mediaeval village of St Paul de Vence, crammed with art galleries and workshops.

The daughter sitting outside one of the best modern art museums in Europe- The Fondation Maeght, in St Paul-de-Vence. There was a Henry Moore retrospective exhibition in Summer 2002.

Alberto Giacometti 'L'homme qui marche'

This piece has to be my favourite permanent sculpture at the Fondation.  As the cylinders fill with water they clunk down creating mini water falls. Magic.
